    Position Summary Bright Shadows Telepsychiatry Services is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support psychiatric and behavioral health services. The LPN plays a critical role in coordinating patient care, supporting providers, monitoring clinical workflows, and ensuring high-quality patient experiences across telehealth and in-person services. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Clinical Support

    Assist providers with patient intake and clinical preparation

    Obtain and document patient vital signs (when applicable)

    Review patient medical history and medications

    Support medication reconciliation processes

    Monitor patient symptoms and report concerns to providers

    Assist with care coordination and follow-up communication

    Patient Care Coordination

    Conduct patient outreach and follow-up calls

    Support treatment plan implementation

    Provide patient education related to medications and care plans

    Assist with referrals, labs, and coordination of outside services

    Monitor patient compliance with appointments and treatment

    Telehealth Support

    Prepare patients for telehealth appointments

    Troubleshoot basic technology issues

    Ensure telehealth consent and documentation compliance

    Support virtual clinic workflow efficiency

    Administrative & Documentation Responsibilities

    Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR

    Assist with prior authorizations and medication requests

    Support insurance coordination as needed

    Ensure timely chart updates and clinical notes support

    Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times

    Qualifications

    Required

    Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

    Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

    Minimum 1 year clinical experience

    Strong patient communication skills

    Proficiency with EMR systems and technology

    Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

    Preferred

    Behavioral health or psychiatric experience

    Telehealth experience

    Medication management support experience

    Care coordination background
