We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient care team. This is a full-time travel assignment in a clinical outpatient setting, with an immediate need for candidates who can start ASAP.

Start Date: 07/25/2025

End Date: 10/25/2025

Shift: Days (8hours/day, 5days/week) 8:00 am- 4:30 pm Monday- Friday

Work Location: Upstate Health Care Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform essential patient care functions with minimal supervision.

• Welcome patients, escort them to exam rooms, and prepare for physician evaluations.

• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient progress.

• Assist physicians during exams and procedures (e.g., injections, pap smears).

• Set up trays, administer injections, and maintain cleanliness in clinical areas.

• Manage front-office responsibilities: appointment scheduling, filing, and chart prep.

• Secure insurance authorizations and coordinate referrals.

• Accurately document care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

• Observe and report patient responses to care; contribute to nursing care plans.

• Participate in routine unit operations and administrative duties.

Requirements:

• Active LPN License in New York State.

• Current BLS certification.

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient or acute care setting.

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Immediate availability preferred.
