    Location: Syracuse, NY | Facility: Level I Trauma Center
    Contract Dates: May 30 – August 27
    Shift: 3 Nights | 12-Hour Shifts

    ACI Health is seeking confident, skilled, and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) ready to deliver top-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department setting.

    Facility Highlights:

    • Level I Trauma Center

    • Certified Burn Center

    • ❤ Accredited Stroke & Chest Pain Center

    • 11 Med/Surg Units, 7 ICUs, and 2 Heli-Pads

    • Leader in emergency, surgical, and rehabilitative care

    ✅ Qualifications:

    • Current New York State LPN License

    • ❤ BLS Certification

    • Valid CPR (or eligible for renewal)

    • ⏳ Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (inpatient preferred)

    • Emergency Department experience required

    • Strong IV placement & phlebotomy skills

    • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

    • Willing to work every other weekend & select holidays

    Key Responsibilities:

    • ✅ Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity ED

    • Greet and prepare patients for exams

    • Assist with injections, procedures , and take vital signs

    • Perform office duties (scheduling, filing, charting)

    • Obtain authorizations for imaging, therapies, and procedures

    • ‍⚕ Communicate with providers and specialists effectively

    • Maintain clean, organized exam rooms

    • Use EMR systems efficiently

    • Follow care plans under RN direction

    • Observe & report patient responses to treatment

    • Contribute to unit operations and patient flow

    • Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA

    Job Type:

    Full-time | 36 hours/week
    Pay: $42.00/hour
