We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician. Pay Rate: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour (dependent on experience and shift differentials)
Shifts Available: Full-time and part-time positions open for both Day Shifts and Night Shifts
Duties and Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility as required by their care plans.
Medication Administration: Safely prepare, verify, and administer prescribed medications and treatments (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular) in strict compliance with state regulations and facility protocols.Vital Signs & Monitoring: Frequently monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen levels) and overall physical/mental condition. Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient electronic health records (EHR/EMR), documenting all treatments, medications, and notable behavioral or physical changes. Wound & Treatment Care: Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter insertions, and specimen collections according to physician orders. Care Team Collaboration: Actively communicate updates regarding changes in patient status directly to the supervising RN or attending physician to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Patient & Family Education: Provide clear, empathetic guidance to patients and their families regarding post-treatment care plans, home exercises, and medication adherence.
Safety & Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA standards, HIPAA privacy guidelines, and facility infection-control protocols to maintain a sterile, safe environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Licensure: Current, active, and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
Skills: Strong proficiency in clinical nursing skills, medication administration protocols, and electronic medical records software.
Attributes: Exceptional interpersonal communication, strong problem-solving abilities, high emotional intelligence, and the physical stamina required to lift, bend, and stand for extended shifts.
