Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Nursing Float Location: Watertown, New York Shift Type: 8-Hour Evenings Assignment Duration: 13+ Weeks (with possible extension) Employment Type: Contract Pay : $42-$46 on W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our Nursing Float team in Watertown, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across multiple units, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and excellent clinical skills in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

· Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.

· Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the supervising RN or physician.

· Assist with wound care, vital signs, and patient hygiene as required.

· Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

· Float between various nursing units as assigned, adapting quickly to different care settings.

· Support patients and families by providing education and emotional care.

· Adhere to all infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

· Active LPN or LVN license in the state of New York (or Compact License, if applicable).

· BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).

· Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience in an acute, sub-acute, or long-term care setting.

· Strong communication, assessment, and time management skills.

· Ability to work flexible schedules and float between departments as needed.
