    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide safe, high-quality patient care in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and assisted living communities. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of an RN or physician.

    Admit, discharge, and transfer patients as required.

    Monitor, record, and report patient vital signs and changes in condition.

    Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring for adverse reactions.

    Perform wound care and dressing changes.

    Collect blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory testing.

    Maintain accurate, timely, and organized patient documentation.

    Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

    Assist with patient assessments and care planning.

    Restock medications, medical supplies, and equipment as needed.

    Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards.

    Follow facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

    Perform additional duties as assigned to support quality patient care.

    Qualifications

    Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.

    Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.

    Minimum 6 months of LPN clinical experience.

    Current CPR/BLS certification.

    Annual physical examination (if required).

    Negative TB test results.

    Successful background check.

    COVID-19 vaccination or compliance with facility-specific vaccination/testing requirements.

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to lift, push, pull, and support up to 80 pounds.

    Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical activities for extended periods.

    Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and other healthcare-related hazards.
