FEFA, LLC / MPF Federal is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support outpatient and ambulatory care services. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting
- Perform clinical assessments and document findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Assist with patient treatments, procedures, and exams as directed by providers
- Respond effectively to emergency situations within the scope of practice
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of a State Board of Nursing–approved LPN/LVN program , OR
- Graduate of an ACEN-accredited LPN program , OR
- Completion of an equivalent military LPN training program
- Certificate required
Experience
- Minimum one (1) year of experience within the last two (2) years as an LPN in:
- Outpatient acute care (hospital-based), or
- Ambulatory care setting
Competencies
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Knowledge of outpatient and ambulatory care workflows
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based care model
Licensure
- Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in any of the following:
- 50 U.S. States
- District of Columbia
- Puerto Rico
- Guam
- U.S. Virgin Islands
Certifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
