    Job Title Licensed Social Worker

    Reports to: Clinical Director/Executive Clinical Director

    Job Summary

    The Social Worker works under the supervision of the Clinical Director/Executive Clinical Director in the client's home, school, and community settings. Social Workers provide individual and group services to children/adolescents/families as part of the ABA team including but not limited to direct implementation and supervision of ABA Therapy, assisting with routine assessments, diagnostic evaluations, coordination of care, and treatment planning. The Social Worker will educate parents/guardians on ABA mythologies and interventions to support the generalization of skills outside of counseling sessions. The Social Worker will also provide staff training and consultation in Applied Behavior Analysis and mental health in collaboration with the Supervisory team.

    Job Duties

    · Implement 1:1 and group services to children (ages 3-18) using Applied Behavior Analysis.

    · Document child's behaviors and skill progress using electronic data collection software.

    · Participate in trainings to promote professional development and quality ABA services to clients.

    · Mobilize resources to support clients and families

    · Collaborate with supervisory staff and key stakeholders as part of coordination of care

    · Maintain respect and confidentiality of clients

    · Maintain and protect the well-being of clients during treatment sessions

    · Assist in conducting clinical assessments to guide the development of programming based on Applied Behavior Analysis

    · Assist in completing diagnostic evaluations

    · Develop and regularly update ABA programs for clients based on assessments and analysis of data/behavior in collaboration with supervisory staff

    · Complete functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans in collaboration with supervisory staff

    · Oversee in-home, school, and community implementation of ABA programming including treatment fidelity and data collection in collaboration with the supervisory staff

    · Provide training to staff and families on Applied Behavior Analysis and Mental Health

    · Complete monthly progress reports and reassessments for insurance authorizations in collaboration with the supervisory staff

    · Ongoing Supervision by Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is provided

    Job Qualifications

    Education: Masters Degree in Social Work

    Current licensure as a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut

    Experience: Previous experience working with children/adolescents with special needs including Autism using ABA focused interventions in the home and community settings.

    Must have reliable transportation and insurance
