About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at On Course Psychological Counseling comprised of clinicians committed to helping clients improve their self-awareness make changes that help them get back on course. OCPC is searching for a clinician who is certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and a NYS Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-R) or a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients of diverse backgrounds.

Lead MBSR groups

Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in a compassionate manner.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.

Stay current with best practices and continuing education in social work.

Engage in community outreach and education as needed.

Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Current LCSW license to practice in New York State.

Early career social workers are considered but experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.

Experience with diverse populations and trauma-informed care is a plus.
