    Location

    Felix & Fido is in Issaquah, Washington, the physical clinic opens in early 2023; however, our mobile services will begin in fall 2022. Located just east of Seattle where the Puget Sound meets the Cascade Mountains, Issaquah is known as a place for great family values, a strong focus on outdoor recreation, and environmental stewardship too. With our team of professionals leveraging modern technology, we aim to always support our clients by delivering the best care possible. We are leading the future of veterinary care by reinventing and reinvigorating the industry. Under the supervision of a virtual doctor, you will have the opportunity to deliver in-home care with a veterinary assistant supporting you in our fully equipped “nurse mobile.” We are committed to providing great customer experiences, and this role will play a pivotal part in designing how we deliver exceptional care no matter where we meet our patients.     What You’ll Be Working On

    • Engaging and communicating with clients to build lasting relationships

    • Conduct patient assessments with oversight from veterinarians

    • Getting, maintaining, and inputting patient information into our internal platforms

    • Surgical preparation and assisting

    • Monitor patient conditions during treatments, procedures, or activities

    • Perform laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment

    • Maintain and build a positive work environment

    • Drive “nurse mobile” to deliver in-home care to our patients

    • Assist with in-clinic day-to-day operations

    • Grow your skills with training, mentorship, and continuing education

    Qualifications

    • Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology

    • LVT license or able to become licensed in the state of Washington

    • A minimum of one year of experience is required

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer savvy

    • Small animal experience with treatment and examination in general practice

    • Advanced medical and technical skills in both canine and feline

    • Confident in communicating and educating clients on proper care

    • Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems

    • Ability to successfully pass a background check, drug-screening, and driving record check

    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    • Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients

    • Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
