    Licensed Veterinary Technician – Full Time Saddleback Mobile Veterinary Services | James Island, SC Saddleback Mobile Veterinary Services is a privately owned mobile and in-clinic veterinary practice serving James Island and the greater Charleston area. We provide compassionate, high-quality care for dogs, cats, and a variety of large animal species, including goats, pigs, sheep, cows, and camelids. We are seeking an experienced, licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated and growing team. This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week and no nights or weekends. About Us We are a two-veterinarian, full-service practice that values personalized care, strong client relationships, and high-quality medicine. Our practice is close-knit, with a supportive environment. We prioritize teamwork, communication, and a positive workplace culture. We primarily focus on wellness, dermatology, and sick visits, while also offering comprehensive medical workups and surgical procedures. Our team also provides mobile services throughout the greater Charleston area. Responsibilities: • Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures ( strong anesthesia and surgical experience required ) • Supporting veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, and recovery • Safely handle and restrain small and large animals • Communicate clearly with clients regarding lab work, radiographs, treatments, and procedures • Perform laboratory procedures and specimen collection (blood, fecal) • Administer IV, SubQ, IM injections, IV catheter placement, and wound care • Maintain accurate medical records • Assist with dispensing medication • Follow all hospital safety protocols and regulatory guidelines Qualifications: Ideal Candidate • Licensed Veterinary Technician • Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical support experience required • Mixed animal experience preferred, but not required • Willingness to work with large animal species • Confident with handling and restraint • Strong communication and client service skills • Ability to work well with a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment • Demonstrates a humble, team-first attitude and openness to learning • Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility Compensation: $18 - $28 hourly based on experience
