About the Role:

We are a small, established practice in the medical center who sees a broad range of nephrology and transplant patients. We are looking for a dependable, personable part-time LVN, to join us.

Responsibilities:

Prepare for and assist with running clinic

Coordinate laboratory and diagnostic testing

Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient charts and documentation - good verbal and written communication

Process medication refills and prior authorizations

Review charts and patient information with physician.

Communicate test results and physician instructions to patients as directed

Requirements:

Current Texas LVN license

Previous clinical or physician office experience preferred

Nephrology or transplant experience is a plus, but not required

Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR), and basic office software

Strong computer skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Organized, dependable and able to work independently

Friendly and dependable.

Communicates well with patients, families and other health members.
