This is hands-on work. You'll be working directly with older adult residents, helping them live with dignity and comfort. This includes administering meds, assessing patient needs, updating care plans, and stepping in when something doesn't look right. You'll also be expected to lead by example—coaching CNAs, working with RNs, and being a go-to for your team.
Give meds safely and track all the details
Monitor patient conditions and update the team
Document everything clearly and on time
Respond fast to changes in patient health
Talk to residents and families in a clear, respectful way
Train new staff and mentor others
Keep patient areas clean, safe, and stocked
Help with unit staffing decisions when needed
Follow protocols—and speak up when something seems off
Active LVN license (California)
1+ year prior Residential Care Facility for the Elderly California LVN experience
CPR certified
Cleared TB test and fingerprint background check
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physical role
