Job description:

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician with at least one-year experience with C-ARM imaging and OR experience to join our team.

Duties X-ray Technician:

• Properly utilizes C-arm and other x-ray equipment

• Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety

• Review and evaluate images for quality and clarity

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques

• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

• Follow safety protocols and adhere to radiation protection guidelines

• Provide compassionate care to patients during procedures

Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Experience in various medical imaging techniques
• Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting X-ray equipment and MRI equipement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings

Requirements:

-Experience with Ortho and Spine imaging

• Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
• Holds an active X-Ray license in the state of Florida
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately -Graduate of 24 month AMA approved School of Radiology Technology -12-24 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality -ARRT certification in Radiology
• IV credentialed if applicable -ARRT certification in MR technology -BLS certification
