Specific Duties:
- Responsible for managing a caseload of clients and overseeing all phases of their treatment no more than 14 active clients at a given time.
- Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions, including clinical assessments, biopsychosocial assessments upon intake, and progress evaluations. Documenting on all provided services. Clients receive a minimum of 1 individual therapy session per week including weeks that a couples or family therapy session is scheduled.
- Educate and provide ethical therapeutic treatment utilizing evidence-based practices and theoretical modalities to clients for mental health, addiction, and co-occurring disorders in both individual and group settings with groups scheduled as per the active schedule dependent on caseload.
- Deliver all scheduled individual sessions according to each client’s designated level of care and chart in EHR in accordance with policy following all GA Counseling, HIPAA, and ACA Code of Ethics guidelines, rules, and regulations.
- Participate and review caseload in weekly Treatment Team meeting collaborating with the clinical, peer, and medical team on client care, interventions, needs, and concerns.
- Attend weekly clinical and directed supervision with the Clinical Director to discuss client care issues, client treatment including what therapeutic modalities are being used as best fit for each client’s unique needs and receive direction on therapeutic growth as a clinical provider.
- Maintain monthly external Clinical Supervision as required for licensure and ethical practice with no less than 1x per month to be scheduled 2x monthly.
- Participate in all scheduled Staff Continuing Education groups and sessions.
- Complete all continuing education courses including reading, comprehending, and applying all printed materials provided case by case by Clinical Supervisor.
- Conduct regular chart reviews to ensure documentation compliance and develop individualized treatment plans reviewed every 28 days appropriate to each client's level of care. All documentation to be completed and ready for Clinical Directors review within 48 hours of service provided, except Fridays when all documentation for the week to be completed before leaving the office.
- Maintain professional attire, no shorts, dressing in a way that blends personal style and aesthetic with professional presentation.
- Support discharge planning, collaborate with the staff providing After Care support to clients, and monitor client adherence to Program standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and work collaboratively with all team members fostering respect for all staff.
- Reports directly to and is supervised by the Clinical Director who will consult with external supervisor if any challenges arise in need of collaborative assistance to ensure client care is prioritized and protected at all times, navigating the learning, growth, and educational aspects needed for a master level clinician to learn how to become a licensed therapist.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Must be trained in providing services for mental health and co-occurring disorders.
- Must possess a Master’s degree (M.S. or M.S.W.) in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Must be eligible for full licensure and actively pursuing associate licensure including taking and passing national exam required for associate licensure.
- Schedule of Program Activities:
Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Clinical Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Clinical Alumni Evenings: Scheduled with advance notice with shift in morning arrival to the office.
