We’re looking for a detail-driven Licensing Specialist to support the opening, transfer, and sale of TLE centers across the country. In this role, you’ll lead the full licensing process—managing applications, coordinating inspections, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure each center meets state and federal requirements. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love structure, and enjoy working with state agencies, this role puts you at the heart of how new TLE locations come to life.

    What You’ll Do

Manage and submit licensing applications for new centers, transfers, and sales

Ensure full compliance with state and federal childcare licensing regulations

Coordinate inspections and site visits with NCO Managers and state agencies

Track center progress from construction through opening to ensure deadlines are met

Serve as the primary point of contact with state and local licensing authorities

Provide training and technical guidance to franchise owners and internal teams

Participate in cross-department meetings to keep licensing workflows aligned

Travel 30% to support on-site inspections when needed

    What You Bring

2+ years of experience with government licensing agencies (preferred)

Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and public-facing

Proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projects

High proficiency in MS Office and Excel

Sound judgment, independent decision-making, and a strong ownership mindset

Ability to build positive relationships across departments and agencies

Flexibility to shift priorities and manage fast-moving workflows

Interest or familiarity with basic legal concepts related to business entities

    Why You’ll Love Joining TLE

    A collaborative, mission-driven team

Direct impact on center openings and national expansion

Growth, learning, and visibility across multiple departments
