Job Description
HOURS:
PART TIME, 25 hours per week, 6AM-11AM OR 12:30PM-5:30PM
OR FULL TIME, 40 hours per week, 6AM-10AM & 1:30PM-5:30PM
SALARY: $13.50 / hour
SUMMARY:
Performs general maintenance and provides security for County owned parking facility.
DUTIES:
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Promotes and maintains positive and effective working relationships and promotes good public relationships as a representative of Licking County Government.
Regularly patrols area.
Keeps sidewalks and ramp free of snow, ice and debris.
Performs miscellaneous custodial tasks (i.e., sweeps facility, empties trash cans, keeps area free of trash and debris).
Performs miscellaneous maintenance of facility (i.e., powerwashing, painting, replacing light bulbs).
Coordinates closures as needed (sets up cones and barricades).
Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to the essential functions of the position and all agency safety procedures
Remains informed of current developments and procedures pertinent to duties; may be required to attend seminars/training.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (AGENCY/DEPT. QUALIFICATIONS):
Must be knowledgeable of operation of hand held leaf blower, power washer and window cleaning equipment. Must be dependable and accountable.
