Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or PA Lido Wellness Center is actively seeking Mental Health Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to join our growing company. Candidates should have completed an accredited nurse practitioner/Physician Assistants program with added certification in psychiatry/mental health and have at least 2 years of post-graduate experience. This exciting position requires a Licensed NP to perform patient evaluations for medication, ongoing medication management, and initial clearance for one of our Psychiatrists to prescribe TMS to qualified patients. Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, as well as psychiatric and other relevant health histories • Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform • Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with patients and colleagues • Must be organized, detail oriented, self motivated and a self starter • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team • Demonstrates the ability to prescribe medications according to state guidelines and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patients diagnoses, health history and age • Candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed, board certified Psychiatrist Qualifications: • Masters Degree in Nursing and completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program • Current RN licensed and certification to practice as an advanced practice nurse in CA with a focus in Psychiatry • Successful completion of company supplied fully credentialed training course on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) REQUIRED LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: • Licensed Psychiatric NP or PA JOB TYPE: • Part-Time, 3-5 hours per week Compensation: $100 - $120 hourly
