Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP (“LCHB”), a national leader in plaintiffs’ class action and multidistrict litigation, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to support its Securities & Financial Fraud Practice Group by analyzing company financial information and fraud-related losses and damages in the firm’s litigation matters. Ideal candidate will be familiar with federal securities laws and their relationship to loss and damages analysis, as well as the use of regression analyses to perform detailed event studies isolating fraud-related damages. This position requires strong factual research and communication skills, both oral and written, especially in the area of financial reporting of publicly traded companies, and will include overseeing the provision of securities portfolio monitoring services to institutional investor clients. Minimum of 3 years of experience. A background in finance or economics is required (graduate degree preferred), and strong familiarity with public company accounting, financial statements, and capital markets preferred.
