    Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lien Negotiator to join our team. The primary function of this role is to negotiate post-settlement liens, including health insurance liens, hospital liens, private medical provider liens, and state and federal medical provider liens. The Lien Negotiator will be responsible for finalizing cases and providing clients with the best recovery possible while exhibiting a high level of efficiency and proficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    · Review medical records and client files to identify all related bills and liens.

    · Compile and tabulate all associated client costs, medical bills, and fees

    · Report all statutory liens, including Medi-Cal, Medicare, private health insurance.

    · Communicate with providers and creditors to confirm lien amounts and negotiate liens

    · Maintain accurate and detailed records of all negotiations, agreements, and communications pertaining to lien resolution

    · Draft reduction letters to resolve and negotiate medical liens

    · Serve as the contact for clients after case resolution to provide regular updates and correspond by phone and email with creditors and providers

    · Draft closing documents and disbursement statements.

    · Issue checks to providers and clients.

    · Complete other office tasks assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum one year of experience in personal injury lien negotiations.

    Strong working knowledge of various governmental healthcare provider policies and procedures for lien negotiation and resolution (e.g., Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medicaid, private health insurance).

    Familiarity with industry practices and procedures in lien negotiation and resolution with health insurance providers, private healthcare providers, and hospital/ER/EMS providers.

    Experience working with medical bills and records.

    Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), FileVine, and other applications/systems.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrates a sense of urgency.

    Punctual, excellent in time management, and interested in building a career.

    Spanish-speaker a plus, but not required

    Requirements:

    Valid driver's license and own transportation .

    Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.

    Salary is based on experience.
