West Coast Trial Lawyers is currently seeking a Lien Negotiator to join our growing Personal Injury Department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior personal injury experience who are eager to grow their legal career in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients maximize their settlements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and itemize client medical bills and records
• Negotiate various types of liens, including medical provider liens, attorney fee liens, subrogation liens, and child support liens
• Draft and submit lien reduction letters
• Communicate and follow up with medical providers to obtain documentation
• Submit lien documentation to Medi-Cal, Medicare, Kaiser (via The Rawlings Company), and other relevant entities
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding their settlement and lien status
• Assist attorneys and staff with general case management and administrative tasks

Qualifications

• Previous experience in personal injury law is required
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with lien negotiations is a plus
