Life-Assist is growing, and we are looking to enhance our current IT team with a strong on-site FRONT END APPLICATION DEVELOPER to support our custom website, new browser-based applications, and online/email campaigns.

The ideal candidate will bring significant front-end development skills while demonstrating a proficiency with connecting to back-end data.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This position will be responsible for developing content to be used in browser-based applications and campaigns. You will bring to life and contribute ideas to the platforms which will represent our products, brand and company.

• Create new applications or enhance existing applications as required
• Provide stable, well-encapsulated fixes and modifications to existing applications
• Develop UI/UX designs to production
• Provide an intuitive, consistent user experience using Life-Assist development tools, selected programming languages, and current design standards
• Provide problem resolution support, specific to application issues
• Look for efficiencies that can be incorporated into coding process and team collaboration
• Follow best practices in all development and deployment

WHO ARE YOU?

• B.S. or B.A. required in one of the following fields: Information Technology, Science or Computer Science or Management, or equivalent combination of education and related experience of 5+ years
• Experience with CSS, Javascript/JQuery, Ajax, HTML, and coding for Responsive Design required
• Experience with optimizing page load times and coding for SEO required
• Experience with UX, UI, Knockout.js, Typescript a plus
• Experience developing in Visual Studio with ASP.NET MVC and C# a plus
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Enjoys solving hard problems through hands-on contribution and creative problem-solving skills
• Takes the initiative; self-learner, self-starter, confident in his/her abilities, self-motivated and willing to take the extra step
• Able to work effectively with limited supervision
• Communicates effectively
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills
• An attention to detail while following through on assigned task and projects
