Event Planning / Social Media Interns Needed Life Beyond Brain Injury - Milwaukee, WI Internship Are you seeking real-world experience in event planning and/or digital marketing? Do you need a resume-building opportunity on a highly visible project? Our project is entering a 30-day push for our NFL brain injury campaign launch! We're seeking cause-oriented interns to help us with everything from our event planning to our social media presence and PR gameplan. NOTE: We will be having a great deal of interaction with the news media, and it would be a plus to find students who are comfortable speaking with reporters. WHO WE ARE We are a fundraising and advocacy organization that helps a local TBI survivor AND raises awareness about traumatic brain injuries. Our interns help us plan fundraisers, organize social events, and spread our organization's mission. Qualifications: Available a minimum of 2 hours a week and able to communicate at least once a week about strategies and event plans Event planning or marketing experience is a plus Our current interns have already gained valuable experience interacting with local media outlets, appearing in on-air TV interviews, creating TV advertising and strategic planning.
