Diversified Brokerage Specialists (DBS) is looking for a high energy individual to support our sales and marketing team in submitting insurance applications and performing general office duties.

This is an entry level position with the opportunity for advancement. DBS is proud to be an environment that enthusiastically promotes from within.

This is not a remote position.

Office hours are M-F 8:30-5 in a comfortable, business casual setting.

Responsibilities

· Work directly with carrier companies and brokers submitting applications, coordinating underwriting requirements and ensuring cases are approved in a timely manner.

· Be proactive in communications.

· Answer phones, emails and greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.

· Provide support in the office as needed.

· Ensure file organization based on office protocol and maintain a neat workstation.

Qualifications

· Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.

· Ability to multitask, problem solve and keep composure in a fast-paced work environment.

· Excellent time management, teamwork, and organizational skills.

· PC proficiency and Microsoft Office experience.

· Insurance or financial industry knowledge is favorable but not required.
