Responsibilities: • Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping • Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies • Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims • Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business • Determine new customers’ insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible • Implement social media and other marketing tools to identify, seek, and generate prospects with whom you can foster strong, long-term relationships as a reliable financial service professional • Create customized financial plans using the products and services we offer based on each client’s potential life and financial needs • Employ a research-based approach to providing financial advice and strategies based on educational meetings and/or seminars centered on client risk tolerance and financial goals • Use a CRM to organize each client’s financial status, goals, cash flow, and monetary expectations for use in their individual financial plan • Provide financial recommendations to clients for savings plans, life insurance policies, mutual fund investments, and other financial products What we’re looking for... • We’re looking for people who want to make a lasting impact on the financial well-being of individuals, families, and small businesses • This is not just a sales job, it’s a career with purpose and opportunity • You’ll provide peace of mind to your clients while helping them navigate challenges that many of them find complex and confusing, such as preparing for retirement and saving for college • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction Qualifications: • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus • Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued • Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products • Uncompromising integrity and the ability to effectively communicate complex programs and ideas is required • Strong relationship management skills and/or experience required • Must have the ability to successfully network and prospect for new clients • Competitive • Enterprising • Coachable • Communicative • Self-disciplined Compensation: $59,000+ to plan
