The New York Life-Huizenga Team is led by Dr. Leroy Huizenga, a North Dakota native (Minot HS 1992) and award-winning New York Life Partner. Successful candidates will build a personal practice with New York Life's support and backing. They will serve individuals, families, and businesses in North Dakota and beyond, offering them our comprehensive insurance protection, asset accumulation, and wealth preservation solutions. Responsibilities involve securing the necessary insurance licenses, participating in and completing New York Life's paid training program, building a clientele with New York Life's support, and providing excellent ongoing client service. Responsibilities: • Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims • Develop a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business • Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintain existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions questions concerning billing and insurance policies • Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date • Research and provide financial advice and strategies through educational meetings or seminars that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives • Assess each client’s potential life and financial needs to create an individualized financial plan that leverages the products and services we offer • Use a CRM to organize each client’s financial status, goals, cash flow, and monetary expectations for use in their individual financial plan • Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products • Leverage marketing and social media tools to identify, pursue, and secure new clients who can benefit from having a trusted financial service professional Qualifications: • Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor’s degree is desired • Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products • Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus • Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills • Candidates with active investment licenses preferred Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 yearly
