Responsibilities: • Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies • Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies • Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping • Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations Qualifications: • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus • Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred Compensation: $67,000 - $100,000 at plan yearly
