About the Role:

The Wright Agency is looking for a driven and personable Life Insurance Specialist to join our growing team in Stamford, CT. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by helping clients protect what matters most. Responsibilities:

Prospect, quote, and sell life insurance policies to new and existing clients

Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend appropriate life insurance products and coverage levels

Build and maintain a strong book of business through referrals, networking, and outbound outreach

Educate clients on term life, whole life, and universal life insurance options

Follow up with leads and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to policy issuance

Collaborate with agency team members to cross-sell and upsell additional Allstate products

Maintain accurate client records and activity logs using agency CRM tools

Requirements:

Active Connecticut and/or New York Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain one promptly)

Prior experience in life insurance sales or financial services preferred

Strong communication, consultative selling, and closing skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets

Proficiency with CRM software and basic office technology

Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to integrity and professionalism

High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or related field a plus
