Job Description

The Business Development Manager will further Life Perspectives’ mission by increasing the number of hospitals and health care systems purchasing reproductive grief care education and healing resources for their employees and patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Passion and alignment with Life Perspectives’ mission and values.
• Commitment to maintain Life Perspectives as the global expert in reproductive grief care and elevate LP’s Institute of Reproductive Grief care as the hub for cutting edge research, innovative thought leadership, and influential collaborative partnerships.
• Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
• Plans and oversees new marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Training Department.
• Finds and develops new markets and improves sales approach.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery methods, and merchandising techniques.
• Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a Related Field preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in sales, marketing or related field.
• Passion and alignment with Life Perspectives’ mission and values.
• Reproductive Grief Care interest.
• Proven experience managing a fast-growing business.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• A strategic mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
• Strong skill set of collaboration, communication, openness, transparency and willingness to contribute.
• Working knowledge of MS office, Google Suite and data collection software.
• Can work at our corporate office in San Diego,CA.
• Ability to travel to clients as needed.
• Occasional participation in evening and weekend events.
