LIFE SERVICES IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A FULL-TIME EAP CLINICIAN AND ACCOUNT MANAGER TO WORK AT OUR WILMINGTON, NC OFFICE LOCATION.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The EAP Clinician & Account Manager position involves building and maintaining strong client relations with employer customers and ensuring that EAP services are well-utilized throughout our client companies. Counseling and clinical consultation responsibilities include providing assessment, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and management consultation both by phone and in-person.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DUTIES:
- Provides extensive on-site consulting and clinical work, including assessments, crisis intervention, short-term counseling, resource referrals, and case management.
- Consults with client representatives, including elected officials, labor, and management to analyze specific problems and designs Employee Assistance programs and services.
- Assists in the review and development of policies and procedures. Interprets and delivers needs assessments to client members.
- Develops and presents various professional development courses and training in Employee Assistance for public sector employees in large or small group settings.
- As appropriate, utilizes ancillary audio-visual and teaching aids to train and educate our client’s employees in good techniques to avoid or minimize risk or losses.
- Participates in Benefit Administrator workshops, Benefit Educations, Wellness Fairs, Regional Biometric Screening events and other sponsored events, programs, and conferences, either to promote or assist the client in general or to address specific Employee Assistance training matters.
- May provide services directly and may also be called upon to work with other client’s consultants and vendors to assist in member training and education activities at client’s Member Groups.
- Provide organizational and management consultations, responding to performance and productivity concerns, as well as workplace trauma, crisis, and loss.
- Services EAP accounts by creating strong partnerships with Human Resources liaisons, assessing organizational needs, conducting account meetings, creating and distributing promotional materials, writing reports and being proactive to help ensure strong EAP visibility and utilization.
- Responsible for a regular and consistent pattern of customer liaison contact, as well as for tracking all customer contact activities in the EAP Expert database system.
- Serves as a clinical expert and ready resource for EAP Intake Specialists, when they require additional support in providing professional, thorough, and timely customer service to both employee and employer clients to optimize efficiency and customer service.
- Perform other related duties as needed and/or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology required.
- 3+ years of post-Master’s degree clinical experience.
- Active Clinical Licensure in a Mental Health profession.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous EAP experience preferred.
- Ability to provide promotional seminars and entry-level EAP trainings preferred.
- Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) qualification preferred.
- LCSW, LICSW, or LMHP
