    We are looking to fill a full-time temp or temp to hire overnight SLS position in Colusa. This opening is from 6/29/25 until 7/23/25, with paid orientation training 1-2 weeks prior. All openings may have opportunity for additional hours on call, as well as potential flexibility to be combined with other openings.

    Sunday 12am-8:30am (8.5 hrs)

    Monday 11pm-8:30am (9.5 hrs)

    Tuesday 11pm-8am (9 hrs)

    Wednesday 11pm-8:30am (9.5 hrs)

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Supportive Living Services (SLS) is a program designed to provide in-home and community-based assistance to adults with developmental disabilities who live in their own homes. Life Skills Coaches assist individuals with the goals they have set for themselves assist them with living their best, most fulfilling and independent life.

    In this position, a few examples of the type of work you will be doing may include assisting the individual with: learning daily skills and activities, menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, budgeting, cleaning, using public transportation, making and attending appointments, volunteering, and participating in social leisure activities.

    Other duties include, but are not limited to:

    Provide in-home and community based assistance to consumers according to individual service programs set up by Alta California Regional Center and New Start SLS.

    Documenting of daily charting notes.

    Reporting of issues and concerns regarding consumers to New Start Case Manager.

    Attending in-service training sessions when offered, as well as complete continued education monthly.

    Some of the individuals we support use electric or manual wheelchairs, receive assistance with adaptive equipment for transfer, and may require personal care assistance (ex: toileting, bathing, brushing teeth, wound assistance).

    QUALIFICATIONS + PRE-REQUISITES

    Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

    Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

    At least 1 year of paid or volunteer experience supporting individuals with disabilities. This may include caregiving, teaching, coaching, or lived experience.

    Staff must be able to work with and support individuals who have disabilities.

    Some individuals we serve may require staff transportation support. Support staff eligible to drive clients must be eligible and willing to use their personal vehicle during employment. Eligibility requires review and maintaining copies of valid CA driver’s license, current insurance, and clean DMV record with the office.

    By Day 1 of Orientation, staff must show proof of current CPR and First Aid certification. Certification must be from an in-person or hybrid course.

    By Day 1 of Orientation, staff must show evidence of a negative TB test and a clear physical exam from within the last year.

    SLS Colusa Overnight Starting Pay Rate: $18 per hour
