Freedom Boat Club the nations oldest and largest boat club seeks a full-time working Club Manager for our Medical City/ South East Orlando location. Work at our beautiful marina assisting our members on and off the boats. This working manager position is designed to be a dual position where the club manager works on dockmaster tasks approximately 75% of the time and working on administrative, scheduling, and other managerial tasks approximately 25% of the time. She or he will be responsible for controlling costs while providing our members with consistent boating excellence for our members. The dockmaster role includes the proper fueling, docking and cleaning of the boats.. In addition to excellent customer service skills the ideal candidate will need real, single engine, power boat experience, the ability to lift 40 lbs. and work on docks. Also the physical strength to work outside in inclement weather for extended periods of time. Mechanical and electrical aptitude is helpful for light repairs. In the manager role the training, motivating, monitoring, evaluating, disciplining and scheduling within the laws and in a professional manner is required. An ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associates degree and at least one year in a management role.
