    LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Corporate Administrative Assistant in Gainesville, FL. This position is an excellent opportunity for learning and growth. It will offer challenging projects in addition to routine daily tasks, all of which will need to be accomplished with an equal attitude of importance and timeliness. Set in a fast-paced executive office environment, this position is part of a small team of support staff who share overall administrative duties while also working independently in specialized roles.

    The Corporate Administrative Assistant role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their skills and knowledge of operations, business development and not-for-profit organizations.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Handle internal and external communication on behalf of the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Operations and maintain and organize calendar, meetings and travel schedule

    • Act as a liaison between the Senior Vice President, CEO, CFO, General Counsel, other Executive staff, District Directors, as well as other managers/departments, concerning operations

    • Process and track expense reports and reimbursements

    • Manage and implement special projects, as assigned

    • Take inventory of office supplies and order office supplies as needed

    • Draft correspondence, answer phones, coordinate mailing and handle inquiries and requests from internal and external sources on the supervisor’s behalf

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree

    • Valid driver’s license. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver’s eligibility requirements

    • Proven leadership skills and self-confidence

    • Analytic and critical thinking skills

    • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

    • Ability to work with travel logistics, scheduling, and meeting management

    • Presentation and communication skills

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • Bachelor’s degree

    • Professional office experience (internships will be considered)

    • Extensive project management experience, including: organizational skills, ability to prioritize, coordinate with others and meet deadlines

    This is a full-time position. Starting salary range is $15.00 - $16.50 an hour. Background check and drug test required. Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer/DFWP/Tobacco Free.
