LifeTies is seeking a Marketing & Social Media Intern to assist with outreach, marketing efforts and increased social media visibility. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a college degree, preferably in a related field (Marketing/Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn (Constant Contact a plus)
• Outstanding written communication skills
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Capability to take initiative and work independently as well as with a team

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to understand appropriate topics, issues and events relevant to LifeTies in order to generate social media content
• Create a weekly / monthly social media calendar
• Collaborate with staff to develop newsletters, email blasts and social media collateral
• Use the Internet and social media to increase volunteer recruitment
•  Assist with Facebook advertising campaigns, including tracking and analyzing results
• Assist with writing press releases and media coordination

This is a remote unpaid internship during the Fall 2021 and/or Spring 2022 semester with a commitment of 1-3 hours per week.
