    Summer Job: Seasonal Lifeguard (Lead)

    What You'll Do

    Supervision & Team Leadership

    • Lead and support lifeguards during your shifts

    • Assign rotations and ensure proper coverage at all times

    • Serve as the on-deck leader and primary point of contact

    • Help train and onboard new lifeguards

    • Run safety drills and in-service trainings

    Safety & Operations

    • Maintain vigilant surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas

    • Respond quickly and confidently to emergencies

    • Enforce pool rules consistently and professionally

    • Complete accurate incident reports

    • Ensure rescue equipment and first aid supplies are ready at all times

    Member Experience

    • Maintain a professional, approachable presence

    • Answer questions and address concerns

    • Help create a safe, welcoming, and respectful pool environment

    ✅ Requirements

    • Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross, Ellis, or equivalent)

    • Current CPR/AED & First Aid certification

    • Prior lifeguard experience required

    • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

    • Comfortable enforcing rules professionally

    ⏰ Schedule & Availability

    • Seasonal, full-time position

    • 35–42 hours per week

    • Mid-shift schedule (typically 9:00/9:45 AM – 6:00 PM or until close)

    • Evenings, weekends, and holidays required (Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)

    ☀ Work Environment

    You'll work outdoors on the pool deck in varying weather conditions. This role requires physical stamina, alertness, and the ability to perform rescues when necessary.
