Lifesteps, a local human services organization, is currently seeking a full-time PROGRAM SPECIALIST / INSTRUCTOR to work at our exciting Adult Training Facility in Kittanning, PA (Armstrong County). 

 The Program Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individual Support Plans (ISP) outcomes for the adult clients who have disabilities in the program. The position also creates and implements interactive lessons for clients, thereby being an Instructor in the classroom setting. 

This hourly paid position works 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekends off work.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

· Associate Degree with minimum of 4 years experience working with persons with disabilities, OR 

· Bachelors Degree with minimum of 2 years experience working with persons with disabilities, OR 

· Masters Degree with minimum of 1 year experience working with persons with disabilities 

· Valid Drivers License, Auto Insurance, and Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance required 

· Ability to provide acceptable clearances
