Job Description

The Lifestyle Director is a cornerstone of the resident experience at The Katy at Victory Park, our premier luxury apartment community. This role brings those values to life—curating experiences, managing visual identity, and ensuring every interaction feels polished, personal, and thoughtfully crafted.

Blending creativity with operational excellence, the Lifestyle Director serves as both a brand ambassador and a hands-on operator. From signature resident events and refined social content to the day-to-day rhythm of our on-site amenity, The Katy Coffee Lab, this role is ideal for a confident, detail-oriented creative who thrives in a dynamic, people-forward environment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management & Resident Programming

Conceptualize, plan, and execute engaging resident events and experiences that reflect the community’s lifestyle vision and brand standards.

Curate a diverse calendar of programming designed to elevate resident satisfaction, encourage connection, and foster a strong sense of community.

Source, coordinate, and manage select vendors, collaborators, and brand partners to enhance offerings.

Gather resident feedback and track event participation to continuously refine programming and measure engagement.

Maintain organized records related to events, vendors, budgets, and community engagement initiatives.

Brand, Content & Social Media Management

Manage and grow the community’s Instagram presence, ensuring all content aligns with luxury brand standards, tone, and visual identity.

Plan, create, and publish high-quality content including photography, short-form video, and curated lifestyle moments.

Develop content calendars, monitor engagement metrics, and adjust strategy to maintain a refined, aspirational digital presence.

Collaborate with leadership to ensure digital storytelling supports leasing goals, resident retention, and overall brand positioning.

Photography & Creative Production

Capture on-site photography for marketing materials, social media, events, amenities, and editorial use.

Uphold consistent visual standards across all platforms, ensuring imagery reflects an elevated residential experience.

Organize, archive, and maintain a digital asset library for future use.

Coffee Shop Operations – The Katy Coffee Lab

Oversee daily operational needs of The Katy Coffee Lab as a key on-site resident amenity.

Submit and manage payroll, monitor profit and loss statements, and ensure financial accuracy.

Complete petty cash reconciliation each statement period.

Coordinate staffing schedules and provide hands-on support by stepping in for barista shifts when needed to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred.

Demonstrated experience in photography, content creation, and/or social media management (portfolio or work samples required).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.

Strong understanding of luxury branding, visual storytelling, and digital aesthetics.

Experience managing operational responsibilities such as payroll, budgeting, and/or P&L oversight.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

Comfortable balancing creative vision with administrative and operational accountability.

Polished, professional communication style with a hospitality-first mindset.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
