We are seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to assist the Liftoff BI team in improving the efficiency of the organization as we scale. In this role, you will utilize various tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau, to identify and address areas of improvement across the company. As an early member of the team, you will have a direct impact on daily operations and strategic decisions. We are looking for an intern to work for 2-4 months during Fall/Winter 2018-19 (dates flexible), with the potential for this role to grow into a full-time position. In your day-to-day you will (among other things): - Research the total addressable market and opportunity for new products - Identify ways to scale and improve the performance of the sales organization - Evaluate the customer journey and provide recommendations for onboarding and customer retention - Have exposure to senior management - Work extensively with SQL and Tableau Requirements - 4-year degree in an analytical field (or currently enrolled) - Basic Excel skills - Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and people skills - Willingness to learn and take on a wide variety of projects - A team player Bonus points if you also have: - Advanced Excel skills - Experience using SQL and Tableau - Previous experience at a startup Working at Liftoff is fast-paced, fun, and challenging, and we thrive on innovation.
