    Development Coordinator

    Roles & Accountabilities

    Working closely with Company and Development Division leadership to formulate Development Division strategy

    Coordinating all project development legal, engineering, permitting, finance and procurement activities

    Coordinating aspects of solar project financings, including management of due diligence, transaction document negotiation

    Working alongside project developers/owners in a team structure to develop large-scale solar and energy storage projects from project origination to the commencement of construction

    Completing or coordinating technical work for projects, including preliminary design, production forecasting, permitting and electrical interconnection for projects between 500 kW to 300 MW

    Developing a keen interest and knowledge of the solar and battery storage industry, and a proven ability to efficiently and effectively multi-task in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

    Helping to identify target sites for acquisition based on key factors, including but not limited to interconnection, permitting and regulations

    Maintaining superior written and verbal communication skills

    Maintaining a ridiculous attention to detail

    Communicating effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing

    Performing work according to standard operating procedures, as well as developing, updating and archiving standard operating procedures.

    Continuously improving development system in close coordination with Development Director and Company staff

    Developing development innovations, quantifying development innovations and orchestrating development system

    Developing, continuously improving and completing work in accordance with Company-wide and position-specific standard operating procedures

    Coordinating all Company Divisions towards the successful completion of each Project

    Delighting our customers

    Developing, updating and reporting of Project scope, schedules and budgets

    Working with Finance Division on all required Project and install work order change orders

    Maximizing efficiency in the implementation of detailed project plans, keeping track of goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies

    Responsible for the quality of work, and for keeping a project on time and on budget

    Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and minimize risk

    Developing systems to manage safety and quality assurance on site

    Education and Certification Requirements

    A 4-year bachelor's degree in a related field OR

    A 2-year degree in technical field and proven work experience demonstrating you can execute the role effectively

    Desired Experience and Competencies

    Coordinating project development legal activities, including but not limited to: project acquisition agreements, land lease agreements, buy/sell agreements, interconnection agreements, permitting agreements, power purchase agreements, finance agreements, letter of intents, procurement agreements, construction agreements, operations and maintenance agreements and other development related legal agreements and negotiations using internal and external legal counsel

    Coordinating project development engineering activities, including but not limited to: site layout, pull tests, geotechnical reports, all engineering required to support project permitting, energy production, civil, mechanical, electrical, data acquisition, staking, surveying, development scheduling and all engineering required to support project financing using internal and external engineering resources

    Coordinating project development permitting activities, including but not limited to: all local, state and federal permits required to construct and operate the project

    Coordinating project development finance activities, including but not limited to: project budget, estimates, pro formas, project debt financings, project equity financing, confidential investment memorandums, membership interest purchase agreements

    Coordinating project development procurement activities, including but not limited to: racking, modules, inverters, energy storage, switchgear and other key procurement relationships, negotiation and strategy

    Coordinating accurate energy production estimates using PVSyst, Helioscope and other industry standard tools
