LightFeather is currently seeking talented Full Stack Software and DevOps engineers who are well versed in Cloud, DevOps, Security and Agile. This is a long-term project. Successful candidates must thrive in a people-based corporate culture.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, Engineering, or IT-related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- iOS for Mobile Operating Systems (including mobile Safari)
- React & AngularJS for responsive web design
- JBoss & Tomcat for application servers
- Spring/Hibernate for Java MVC framework
- Apache ActiveMQ for message queuing
- National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) & JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) standard formats for data representation based on NIEM data model.
- Microservices software architecture
- Representational State Transfer (REST) and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) web service protocols
- Oracle (Transactional) / PostgreSQL or similar (Data Stores and Warehouses)
- Security Assertion Mark-up Language (SAML) and KERBEROS Single Sign-On Standards
- Container technologies (OpenShift, Docker, or similar) to build, run, and scale applications
- DevOpsSec (Development Operations Security) tools and resources such as but not limited to Jenkins, Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Vault, SonarQube, OKTA, AWS Lambda and DynamoDB to deliver Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) for ERO applications
- Java, Spring Boot
- Experience with Agile and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, GitHub, JUnit, Selenium, Confluence, Jira, etc.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Kafka, and developing in/for a containerized (OpenShift) AWS environment.
- Experience with developing Windows Services in C#, is a plus.3+ years of progressively responsible software engineering.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principals.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques.
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing practices.
- Demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying gained knowledge to address business problems.
- Ability to communicate with clients on a business level and translate their needs into a technical solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, test, and deploy highly scalable and resilient cloud-based applications on private and public clouds by building APIs and microservices.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Take ownership of key architecture decisions.
- Provide Knowledge and expertise in the tools and techniques necessary to design software and deploy using automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Work on an integrated team that embraces an Agile methodology with an emphasis on automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Support the design and development of secure microservices, and responsible for writing high quality, defect-free, secure, extensible, and reusable code, and ensuring that code is protected and tested through rigorous automated testing practices.
- All candidates must demonstrate a high degree of initiative, passion for innovation, a solid understanding of software engineering, and a willingness to work in a highly collaborative Agile and DevOps culture.
