I know what you're thinking. Perhaps the Orthodontics industry isn't what you were looking for. If I am being honest, that's what I initially thought. As a Software Engineer at LightForce, you will drive our vision for growth and help us revolutionize the Orthodontic profession. Working directly with Product Management and a small scrum team you will design, implement, test and maintain features on our cutting edge graphics front end, C++ backend, and SAAS software that enables doctors to scan, plan and manufacture custom braces for their patients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will own design, implementation, testing and delivery of software to production
• You will be able to take customer feedback and translate it to software requirements
• Be able to work independently, self-learn and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with other developers via code reviews and occasional pair programming

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Experience with 3D graphics and/or visualization technologies (THREE.js/WebGL/OpenGl, VTK, C++ or other libraries)
• Experience developing web based front end applications (Angular2+, Typescript)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud providers
• Conscientious team member and independent worker, experienced working within a scrum team
• Effectively communicates inside and outside of the R&D function
