The collaborative, fast-paced marketing team seeks a highly motivated and resourceful WordPress Web Developer to help innovate the development and maintenance of various websites. If you're well versed in WordPress development with an understanding of marketing, this is the role for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

WordPress site development, deployment and maintenance

Create templates and style sheets

Work collaboratively with development, content, visual design, and marketing teams

Test concepts, perform task and user analysis, and assist with user acceptance testing

Researching new technologies and tools for effective integration across various platforms

Implementing web applications security measures.

Maximize data management and coordinate the flow of data between various internal and external teams

DNS records management

API integration

Qualifications

Strong creative portfolio of website / interactive design samples

Back End knowledge of creating custom WordPress plugins, themes, working with WordPress hooks and filters etc

Building websites based on PSD mockups

Front End knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive frameworks (Foundation, Bootstrap, etc)

Expert experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

Knowledge of SEO best practices

Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously

Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Minimum 3 years of experience as a web designer

High sense of urgency, and a passion for marketing

Strong communication skills and commitment to customer focus
