About the role: Front End Developer We need a sharp and ambitious Front End Developer who is a motivated, career and customer oriented team player to join our team. You must be genuinely passionate about front end development and UX methodologies. You must be a self-starter, quick learner, passionate problem resolver and have a love for continual learning and exploration. This is a full time position with employee benefits that will work out of our headquarters in Las Vegas, NV.
Responsibilities will include:
Translation and implementation of UI/UX design wireframes and/or prototypes to code that will produce visual elements of the application (and ensuring the technical feasibility of them).
Maintenance of existing features and applications. Some legacy, some modern.
Tracking down and fixing bugs, performance issues, or display issues.
Getting involved and extremely knowledgeable of our current application so that you know the ins and out of it and can provide constructive guidance and ultimately “hands-on” improve the front end user experience of our application to be really easy and almost fun to use.
Qualifications, Skills and Significant Experience Expectations:
Enterprise software development in Javascript and related technologies; specifically Front End Development
Modern Front End frameworks (we are aggressively moving to Angular).
UI frameworks (Material Design, Bootstrap, Foundation, …).
Web services (REST).
Unit testing methods and test driven development (Karma, Jasmine, and WebDriver).
Front End build tools (Gulp, Webpack, NPM, …)
HTML5, CSS3, SCSS; specifically applicable to video content.
Version control systems; (we use Git).
Responsive design, touch and mobile interfaces.
