JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an entry level Software Engineer to join our Development team at Lightbeam. This position will involve developing software, creating reports and integrating healthcare data into our enterprise population health ecosystem.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into a software deliverable
• Assemble and integrate large, complex data sets into our Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Develop reports and associated software tools to validate and optimize the data ingestion process
• Create supporting documentation for the application, reports and data pipelines

QUALIFYING JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 0-2 years’ experience
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Strong desire to learn new
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Solid organization skills

DESIRED:

• Knowledge of SQL / Relational Database Management Systems
• Project or Internship SDLC experience using visual studio, source tree, or similar.
• Healthcare data knowledge

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED:

• A relevant college degree
• In lieu of a degree, equivalent professional experience may be considered

PREFERRED:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
