Shipping and Receiving Warehouse and Facilities Associate

We operate a small warehouse in Selinsgrove, PA and we are looking for someone to handle the unloading/loading of trucks, inventory management, and general warehouse activities. In addition, this role will be assist in weekly facility maintenance and cleaning, which will include cleaning the common areas, bathrooms, kitchen, and general office area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hand select items using pick-lists from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems to fulfill customer orders.
• Process customer returns according to company guidelines.
• Ensure returned product is either returned to vendor or returned to stock following company guidelines.
• Prepare the order to be shipped as per company guidelines and shipping regulations for domestic and international shipping/packaging.
• Operate various equipment to include hand trucks, pallet jacks etc. in a safe manner and within company guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory counts and communicating with management when discrepancies arise.
• General building maintenance, including trash removal, recycling, etc.
• Weekly cleaning of common areas and office work area, including Bathrooms, Kitchen, and conference rooms.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• 1-2 years of related warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Adaptable with a willingness to embrace change with a positive attitude.
• Experience using FedEx and/or UPS tools preferred, but not required.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE:

• This position starts at $18.00/hour and moves to $19.00/hour after 60 days.
• The position is full time: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
• Other Benefits include 2 weeks of paid time off + 1 week of sick time, paid holidays. Health, dental, vision, and Life insurance.
