We're expanding our marketing team to keep up with the increasing demand for our direct marketing services. Our face-­to-­face marketing strategy is the fuel that lights up brands and brings what we call the human touch. Our attention to detail-style marketing allows us to connect with customers in a way they've never been reached before.

Client Ambassador Responsibilities:

Your time at Lightyear will be guided by your career objectives, but all of our CAs get actively involved in our marketing campaigns. You'll be working with the marketing team and will essentially become the face of a brand. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Setting up branded displays, kiosks, and pop-up stalls
• Building value by creating a unique customer experience
• Attracting attention and striking up conversations with locals
• Promoting a brand and its products/services to the public
• Answering questions, evaluating needs, and relating to people
• Completing a handful of sales transactions each day
• Conducting market research to collect valuable feedback
• Testing new campaigns, locations, and approaches

Every interaction is unique and tailored, allowing for a memorable experience for your customers. Through our ability to ask and answer questions, alter perceptions, humor, and connect, we provide a physical touch that would be impossible through most other mediums.

**Hours, Training, Pay & Perks: **

This position requires full-time hours. We can accommodate long-term or short-term working relationships as long as you're available for at least 6 weeks. We provide all CAs with ongoing training and on-site support because their individual successes are what add up to overall success. Client Ambassadors receive weekly pay, a combination of a base plus commissions and bonuses. Additional perks include growth, travel, competition, fun, & diversity.

Client Ambassador Requirements:

• You should be available to work full-time hours for a minimum of 6 weeks
• Some customer-facing work experience like retail sales, food service, or similar is recommended
• Marketing or communications studies and qualifications are welcomed, but not necessarily required as long as you have a good understanding of basic marketing techniques and confident communications skills
• A willingness to strike up conversations with passersby. Some of our CAs are naturally extroverted and others work on expanding their comfort zones
• Teamwork and leadership abilities are helpful since you'll be working as part of a team and we're always looking for people we can promote into more senior roles
• We'd prefer if you're able to start within 2 weeks' time (if not, please withhold your application until nearer to when you can start)
