The Plex (Indoor Sports facility) is looking for a night manager Thursday and Friday nights 4:30pm - 11pm. Looking for individuals with outgoing personalities, dependable/reliable, and able to provide great customer service. Responsibilities include - front desk check in, answering phones, and working a small sided snack bar/bar. Will need to get a food handlers and OLCC card. The Plex is an Indoor Sports Arena (https://www.theplexpdx.com/) that runs soccer leagues, youth soccer classes, and much more! Our business provides recreational services for children as young as 18 months to 99 years old.

Job Summary:

This position is unique because managers are knowledgeable about ALL facility programming and scheduling and able to assist our customers with any questions they have. Managers also handle customers’ food & beverage requests.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer service i.e. checking people in, printing player cards, taking team and rental payments and answering questions

Professional telecommunications etiquette when on the phone with customers

Assisting with sales of programming and customer memberships

Troubleshooting customer questions and inquiries regarding their program of interest

Understanding and proper use of our scheduling system (Daysmart Recreation)

General facility upkeep and minor maintenance

Proper food & beverage handling, product knowledge, serving and performing accurate transactions

Managing snack shack appearance with stocking, facing and rotation of inventory

Performing proper cash handling and credit/debit transactions

Enforce safety standards

Qualifications:

Great customer service skills

Authorized to work in the United States

Oregon food handlers and Alcohol Service Permit

18 years or older

***Available Thursday and Friday nights 4:30pm - 11pm

Detailed-oriented and able to multitask and manage time effectively
