POSITION SUMMARY
The Sports Complex Operations Team at Tri-County Sports Complex is responsible for a variety of duties dependent upon the facility needs, while providing participants, members and/or guests an excellent experience in every aspect.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Ensure equipment for events is readily available and safe to use.
Properly set up and breakdown for all events, including but not limited to tournaments, leagues, courts, and turf.
Support the Front Desk, Concessions, and Facilities areas.
Answer phones, respond to customer requests, enter bookings, check people in, use Daysmart Recreation software
Help stock and inventory equipment and supplies.
Be knowledgeable of scoreboard operations and all athletic equipment.
Assist other team members and back-fill in the event someone is sick or on vacation.
Staff youth summer camps.
Monitor all events in and around the facility.
Maintain and control trash in all areas of the facility including indoor and outdoor.
Ensure cleanliness of facility, especially restrooms and common areas.
Consistently communicate issues and relevant updates to your supervisor and team members
Respond to all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations.
Provide courteous and friendly first-in-class service to all guests.
Be knowledgeable about the facility (practices, events, meeting dates/times)
Know and enforce the venue policies and procedures.
Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, some holidays, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent computer skills
Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Must have excellent guest service skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations.
Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, and fellow team members.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high.
May be required to stand for extended periods of time and squat, stoop or bend.
This position requires physical demands, i.e., setting up soccer and lacrosse nets.
The facility has intermittent noise and varying temperatures.
