    Job Title: Kitchen Staff / Lead Cook

    Job Overview:

    As the Kitchen Staff / Cook team member, your primary responsibility is to support the efficient operation of the concessions stand kitchen at Tri-County Sports Complex. You will be involved in various aspects of food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the quality and safety of the food served to customers. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Menu Creation:

    · Work with management to create delicious and affordable menu items that are appealing to our customers.

    1. Food Preparation:

    · Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and menu standards.

    · Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in food preparation.

    · Adhere to health and safety guidelines in handling and storing food products.

    1. Cooking:

    · Operate kitchen equipment, specifically the Pratica Speed Oven and other food warming equipment.

    · Monitor cooking processes to ensure that food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets safety standards.

    · Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

    1. Order Fulfillment:

    · Assist in fulfilling customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.

    · Collaborate with other kitchen staff and concessions team members to streamline order processing.

    1. Customer Service:

    · Provide friendly and efficient service to customers at the concessions stand.

    · Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding menu items.

    1. Cleanliness and Organization:

    · Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.

    · Follow proper cleaning and sanitization protocols as per health and safety regulations.

    1. Inventory Management:

    · Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of food products and supplies.

    · Work with suppliers in establishing menu items, pricing, and inventory.

    1. Compliance:

    · Adhere to all food safety regulations and health code standards.

    · Follow company policies and procedures related to food preparation and customer service.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation is required.

    Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

    Serv-Safe Certification is preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand for extended periods.

    Lift and carry heavy loads (up to 40 lbs).

    Work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
