Role Overview: Under the direction of the Sports & Recreation Programs Director, the flag football referee oversees flag football games, ensuring fair play, enforcing rules, and promoting a positive and safe sporting environment. Key Responsibilities:

Pre-game Preparation:

Familiarizing oneself with flag football rules and regulations.

Checking equipment and the playing field for safety and compliance.

Game Officiation:

Enforcing rules consistently and fairly throughout the game.

Monitoring players for illegal actions, such as grabbing or tackling.

Administering penalties and ensuring fair play.

Communication:

Clearly communicating decisions to players, coaches, and spectators.

Collaborating with fellow officials to ensure a smooth officiating process.

Safety Oversight:
